The project involves the creation of an integrated device for digital diagnosis of spinal defects. The project will result in the creation of both a prototype diagnostic device and dedicated analytical software. Currently used methods either have limited accuracy (digital photography, expert assessment) or expose the patient to the need for X-rays. The proposed solution is intended to enable high-accuracy diagnostics in the most automated way possible, thus reducing the possibility of human error. The device will also enable diagnostics to be performed in motion (during rehabilitation exercises) and in the patient's everyday environment, which is not possible with any currently used diagnostic technology.
