An employee of the Department of Complex Systems, Andrzej Paszkiewicz, Ph.D., is co-author of the scientific publication entitled " Strength of threaded connections additively produced from polymeric materials"  published in the scientific journal International Journal for Quality Research (according to the list of MEiN 70 pts.), 67(6), 261-270, 2022. The publication was created as a result of the scientific work of an interdisciplinary team of Rzeszow University of Technology employees.

The article presents the results of strength tests of screw-nut threaded connections made of polymeric materials such as: ABS, PLA, PET-G and RGD720. In order to make physical models, three 3D printing techniques were used: Fused Deposition Modeling (FDM), Fused Filament Fabrication (FFF), and PolyJet. The tests took into account the stresses caused by the axial force generated when the bolt is screwed into the nut or other structural element.

We invite you to read the entire article, which is available on the website: https://doi.org/10.14314/polimery.2022.6.4
