On 19.10.2023, a scientific seminar was held in Rzeszów entitled. "Computer aided processes - Techno 4.0". The seminar was organised at the Urban Lab in Rzeszów, in order to present research results obtained within Task 1 entitled 'Development of technologies for the needs of the aerospace industry taking into account the conditions of the Industry 4.0 concept' in the project entitled 'Regional Centre of Excellence for Automation and Robotics, Informatics, Electrical Engineering, Electronics and Telecommunications of the Rzeszów University of Technology', funded by the Ministry of Education and Science.

The use of information technology in industrial processes contributes to the optimisation of procedures, resulting in the determination of the most effective design and production conditions. Industry 4.0 in the area of automotive and aerospace manufacturing requires the use of precise technologies and tools at every stage of the design and manufacturing process. At the same time, the development of IT tools with great potential for implementation in industry is enabling an increasingly wide range of automation in production and logistics. The research work carried out as part of the project meets the needs of businesses to explore the possibilities and develop solutions to increase the efficiency and potential of integration between the ICT area and industry.

The development of such solutions is an opportunity to exchange knowledge and experience between academia and the socio-economic environment.

The event was organised by the Rzeszów University of Technology Mechanical Engineering Department, the Department of Complex Systems and the Industry 4.0 National Cluster. The Department of Complex Systems was represented by Andrzej Paszkiewicz, PhD and Marek Bolanowski, PhD.
