We are pleased to announce that our Department has signed a patronage agreement with ESECURE company with headquarters in Rzeszów regarding scientific and educational cooperation and exchange of experiences in the field of cybersecurity.
As part of the cooperation, the team consisting of: PhD. Eng. P. Dymora, PhD. Eng. M. Mazurek, PhD. Eng. M. Nycz and MSc. B. Kowal and MSc. M. Salach will be on a 6-month research and scientific internship in the company. The scope of cooperation will relate in particular to the areas of:
- analysis of events detected by SIEM, UEBA and NBAD tools,
- analysis of events and methods of integration with systems dedicated to detection of threats,
- analysis of the content of the configuration and event logs (logs) of various elements of the ICT system in terms of the possibility of inferring automatic actions,
- preparation of dedicated parsers,
- analysis of the usefulness of information obtained through integration with Vulnerability Assessment tools,
- integration of various commercial and open-source databases,
- analysis of information sources obtained in the previous stages,
- research on the actual work of operators and analysts of the SOC Operational Security Center.
The result of the cooperation will be the implementation of a complete action scenario for the Virtual Team of Cybersecurity Analysts.
