Rzeszów University of Technology and the Military University of Technology Join Forces – New Opportunities for Scientific Collaboration of the Department of Complex Systems

On April 2, 2026, a cooperation agreement was signed between Rzeszów University of Technology and Military University of Technology by the Rector of RUT, Prof. Piotr Koszelnik, and the Rector-Commandant of MUT, Brig. Gen. Prof. Przemysław Wachulak.

The collaboration focuses on the implementation of joint scientific research and development activities in areas crucial to modern economy and security. These include, among others, advanced technologies in logistics, reliability and efficiency of logistics systems, innovations in both military and civilian logistics, development of mobile measurement systems, autonomous and unmanned systems, robotics and automation in manufacturing processes, digital twins, as well as solutions based on the Internet of Things, artificial intelligence, and advanced algorithmic modeling. An important component of the cooperation will also involve research on mobile platforms and their applications across industrial, urban, military, energy, and agricultural environments.

The agreement provides for a broad range of collaborative activities, including joint research and development projects, commercialization of research outcomes, technology transfer to industry, scientific consulting and technical expertise, education of students and doctoral candidates, organization of training sessions, courses and scientific conferences, as well as internships and exchange of knowledge and experience. 

One of the persons responsible for the implementation of the agreement on behalf of Rzeszów University of Technology is Dr. Eng. Andrzej Paszkiewicz from the Department of Complex Systems.
