During the conference ICCS 2023: INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON COMPUTATIONAL SCIENCE, a refereed paper entitled: Application of genetic algorithm to load balancing in networks with a homogeneous traffic flow was presented. The paper under the same title, co-authored by employees of the Department of Complex Systems Marek Bolanowski, PhD, and Andrzej Paszkiewicz, PhD, was published in the post-conference materials in the Springer Lecture Notes in Computer Science series and is available at: https://link.springer.com/chapter/10.1007/978-3-031-36021-3_32. According to the list attached to the Announcement of the Ministry of Education and Science dated December 21, 2021, the International Conference on Computational Science [ICCS] conference received 140 points and is assigned to the discipline of technical computer science and telecommunications (item 703 in the list).

The results of the work published in the article are the result of joint research work conducted by Marek Bolanowski, PhD, and Andrzej Paszkiewicz, PhD, with employees of the Institute of Systems Research of the Polish Academy of Sciences.
