Rzeszow University of Technology joined the organization of the 1st Workshop on Complex Networks: Theory and Application (CN-TA'22) as part of the FedCSIS international conference. The event will be held in hybrid mode in Sofia (Bulgaria) 4-7 September this year. The conference is indexed in category B of the CORE ranking. According to the announcement of the the Ministry of Education and Science on December 21, 2021, articles that will be published in the post-conference materials will receive 70 points.

One of the thematic sessions within the FedCSIS conference is "1st Workshop on Complex Networks: Theory and Application (CN-TA'22)". The co-chairs of the workshop are employees of the Department of Complex Systems, Andrzej Paszkiewicz, PhD and Marek Bolanowski, PhD. The main objective of this session is to exchange knowledge and experience between specialists who in their research and design work use theories and solutions specific to complex systems. The thematic session "1st Workshop on Complex Networks: Theory and Application" (CN-TA'22) is a result of collaboration within the project financed by the Minister of Education and Science of the Republic of Poland within the “Regional Initiative of Excellence” program for years 2019–2022. Project number 027/RID/2018/19, amount granted 11 999 900 PLN.
