On November 25 - 26, 2022, the largest robotic competition in Poland - XChallenge 2022 - will take place at Rzeszow's Podpromie Arena. The event brings together three competitions - Task Hunters, Smash Bots and ROBO~motion. On the first day (25.11, Friday), the Task Hunters competition is organized for high school students only. The task of up to 10-person teams is to restart the power plant with the help of special energy cubes and a power balls that was unexpectedly shut down. The participants' task is to collect the energy cubes with a 50 x 50 x 100 cm remote-controlled robot in a 15 x 15 meter arena. However, it can't be that easy - the arena is equipped with mazes and obstacles that must be avoided or moved. Our Department also has its share in this competition as one of the tasks was fully developed by us - logic circuits using Boolean gates and algebra to solve.

The second day (26.11) is a competition open to spectators and intended for everyone - there is no age limit. This is when the most unearthly battles will take place - Smash Bots. Deadly robots weighing 40kg equipped with a wide arsenal ranging from circular saws to torches and flamethrowers will fight to the death in an enclosed arena. Only the best will survive! Along with the Smash Bots, there will also be ROBO~motion competitions designed to verify the skills and designs of the robots prepared by the competitors. In 15 different competitions, autonomous robots are tasked with, among other things, running fast robots over a line in time, dragging an opponent's robot with a rope, facing off in sumo arenas or our special competition - collecting red onions from the board. XChallenge is held once a year, being the largest robotic event in Poland. Everyone is cordially invited! The event will also be streamed on the Internet. All details are available at:
