On November 4, 2022, the official opening of the Internet of Everything testing stand available as part of the infrastructure of the laboratory of computer networks, converged systems and complex ICT systems in the Department Complex Systems of the Rzeszów University of Technology took place. The investment for PLN 2.5 million will allow to conduct research and development works in the field of cybersecurity.
Elements of research and testing stand
The Internet of Everything (IoE) research and testing stand is built on the basis of elements that make up a unique system composed of:
- Advanced simulator of complex network systems with RiverBed Modeler.
- Set of 4 high-performance core switches and 9 aggregation switches.
- Hardware motion tester / generator with the necessary software.
- Safety testing system based on BreakingPoint Keysight.
- High-power computing server module, with multi-processor, multi-core architecture, supporting multi-threaded processes, virtualization of operating systems, parallelization of calculations also with the use of GPU cards.
