Protolab

The Protolab Academy is a free program for participants, including training in business and startup issues, as well as meetings with Mentors representing the world of science and business. In addition, during the program, participants develop design concepts from a given area (this edition is related to IT), which then take part in the competition.

The main role of the Mentor is to meet the participants and deliver an inspirational lecture lasting 30-40 minutes, during which the Mentor can indicate the directions of development or challenges that are currently relevant in a given industry, bring closer to other IT-related issues that may be important, e.g. career planning or the implementation of projects in the IT industry.

Protolab's offer is addressed to secondary school students in order to present the potential and development opportunities in the voivodeship, encourage them to choose regional universities, and enable contact with scientists from the region. The great value of the program is the fact that the participants form mixed groups of pupils and students, including inter-school and inter-university teams, exchanging experience and supplementing each other with competences.

On Saturday, April 23, 2022, a lecture entitled Digitization and cybersecurity - contemporary challenges and technologies of the future was delivered by PhD. DSc. Dominik Strzałka, prof. PRz.
