New Erasmus+ students at Department of Complex Systems

A new semester brings us new challenges. This time we have several new students who will have classes at our department related to the following modules: History of ideas and scientific discoveries, Selected issues of computer engineering in foreign language – they will be given for Eva Bartolomeu, Mariana Rosa, João Farias who came to us from University of Aveiro in Portugal where they bachelored in Computer Engineering and now are on Master Degree in the same course.

Eva is 21 years old, lives in São João da Pesqueira, a village in Portugal, considers herself to be curious and interested in learning new things.

Mariana is a 21 years old student from Azores, a group of islands that belongs to Portugal. She is a very dynamic and dedicated person that loves technology, that’s why she chose this course.

João is a 21 years old student from Viseu, a city in the center of Portugal. Always fascinated with technology, that’s why he chose this course. He was graduated in Informatics Engineering at University of Aveiro and considers himself well organized and team-worker due to scout spirit, also used to do volunteer work.

Eva, Mariana and João came from University of Aveiro and they love to study there. It is one of the biggest universities in Portugal, with 20 departments/schools, 5 libraries, 150 hectares and more than 12500 students.

We also have two students from Turkey. One is Doğa Güneş (21), who came to us from Istanbul and study at Munzur University. Her field of bachelor study is Computer Engineering in the fourth year of college. She is energetic, open to learning and self-renewing. She will have classes related to Ideas and Computer Engineering. The second student’s name is Mert Özcan (23). He is studying Aircraft maintenance engineering. His university (Erciyes University) is one of the best this field. He will have classes related to Elements of logic and computer arithmetic. Mert is an open-minded and extrovert person. He would like to learn about Polish culture and language.
